The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson and the Olympians, series by Rick Riordan – This very popular series includes The Lightening Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan’s curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and The Last Olympian. These adventure /fantasy books are based on Greek mythology. Percy Jackson discovers he is a son of Poseidon and that Greek mythological gods and monsters still exist and struggle. The first title in the series, Lightening Thief was released as a movie in February 2010.
